I have 10+ years of developing recipes for a variety of clients. Some of my favorite projects have been:

• chasing the taste of a memory to develop a recipe at a restaurant

• scaling home recipes for commercial use

• writing and testing recipes for cookbooks (including my own)

• developing recipes to showcase specific products for national brands and small businesses

Menu Development

My experiences as a culinary director and the owner of a food business (as well as an extravagant amount of dining out around the world) have given me a keen eye for menu development.

Food Writing
My most notable writing projects have been as a food/travel/DIY blogger at Alyssa & Carla, co-writing the cookbook Hack Your Cupboard (called “insightful, creative, and entertaining” by Publisher’s Weekly), and writing website and marketing copy for small food businesses.

Food Styling and Photography
I have been styling and photographing food for websites, marketing materials, and social media content for over ten years. Investing in high-quality images is a crucial step in building a successful brand.
